Ron’s career as a teacher, skills-trainer and intercultural communication specialist spans over 23 years, from Asia to Barcelona; here he worked 10+ years for ESADE before creating together the ELASTiC project. With an M.A. in Foreign Affairs, he has written such varied skills courses as Leading a Multicultural Team and Pronunciation for Professionals.
Hardworking, patient, and well-aware of the need for humor in nearly every cross-cultural situation, Ron uses these qualities to help students get the best from themselves to succeed. He is committed to the idea of doing well (for ELASTiC) by doing good (for our customers and our community).

Lola Garay
Skills Trainer and partner
Passionate about her profession and determined to make a difference, she is pushing for higher standards in mainstream teacher training, and a greater focus on inclusive learning to ensure that everyone has the chance to benefit.

Neil Reid
Skills Trainer and partner
Neil has worked in language teaching and management in Barcelona for over 14 years, at the British Council, ESADE and ELASTiC. He has wide-ranging experience in business development, market research, digital marketing strategy and social media engagement. His teaching concerns in recent years have been the use of IT in education, quality in the classroom, and course writing.
Neil’s focus is on student needs above all else, and helping them to identify and reach their own personal goals in as efficient and enjoyable way as possible. The belief that all people have untapped potential to develop in terms of language, is fundamental to his teaching practice.
